Yeah I blame the current style of hip hop/RnB. There are some black guitar players who are out there killin it, but there doesn't seem to be an abundance of them.

Hip Hop to blame....which is why I really enjoy when a hip hop artist incorporates live band into their songs

It's the other way around. Hip Hop is more the result of folks not having access to instruments/lessons.

Black folks never stopped playing instruments it's just a shortage of mainstream solo artists who play guitar.

Most are in church bands or in bands where they are not the featured artists.

the POWERS dont want live instruments to ever become the standard again because legitimate sound vibration heals the spirit........digital music is not actual soundwaves, its binary code that imitates sound vibration.

I know it sounds absurd but synthesized sounds are literally little 0s and 1s flying out of the speaker and hitting your body like tiny pieces of shattered glass. This affects us immensely on a subconscious level.
