Why doesn't android phones have group messaging?

Groupme works great for this. The recipients do not need to have the app, they'll get all of the group's message in one text message thread.

everybody i know hates group messages. including me. Its weird getting messages from people you dont know in the group.

No shyt its not on android, but that doesn't make it an app or not.

gtalk is a stock app, google just doesn't push it despite all the features it has.

i send group messages all the time on my Note 2
