yea only GoSMS does what I really want a default app to work like. I don't get why this feature is so hard to incorporate. another thing I hate about GoSMS is the constant adds they text.

that's just a text to multiple people but not group messaging. I've used GoSMS but it sucks and I get two notification for every text, one from GoSMS and one from default message app.
Turn notifications off for the default messaging app.

One option that nobody has mentioned that I believe is standard in every Android phone is the Google Talk app. I haven't tried it with group messaging, but I know that it's in every phone that's running Android and you can do video chat with it. Try and see if you can do group messaging as well. The Google+ app also has a group messaging feature as well which I believe is standard now in Android phones.

Google Talk is basically Android's iMessage, but nobody knows about it to even use it.

:ohhh: Imessage isn't an app?

And I am not sure, but I don't think GoSMS is dependent upon everyone having the app.

If the messages come to their phone then it's cool right?

If they have an Android phone, then that means they have a gmail, which means all they have to do is log into their GTalk in their phone and they can get messages. You can sync your contact list to your gmail account and all the active users will be on your GTalk list.

:manny:

I hardly use the shyt myself, I'm just trying to help out.
