So you can't just type everyone name in the send box to send a group message like I can on my droid razr maxx? I think group messaging is there.

You can group message on android. You don't need any other apps to do that. Stock message is fine.

1. In the "enter recipient" box

2. Type name of person you want to text.

3. Same as #2

4. Done adding all the people you want to text?

5. Press send.

6. Curse Steve job for making you a mindless peon who can't figure out how to group message.

From my understanding if you do it this way, each person will get an individual message from you and when they reply the reply will only come to you, and not the entire group.

that's just a text to multiple people but not group messaging. I've used GoSMS but it sucks and I get two notification for every text, one from GoSMS and one from default message app.
