and? how do you correlate that to "we must rent tariqs lecture for 20 bucks" ?

It doesn't, I don't tell Black people how they should spend their money but I do see what Black people think is valuable based on how they spend their money and what they complain about being too expensive.

The only thing a pair of Jordan's can do is look cool on your feet and Black people are literally willing to sleep on a sidewalk in front of Foot Locker for that, something that has no real value.

I really dont see how ppl can look past the absurdity of "20 to rent, 25 to own"

Its easy to say if you dont like the price dont buy, which what i do, but op decided he wanted to discuss it. So why cant we discuss JUST THAT instead of twisting it into all of this extra shyt.

On another note, you must not get out much as I can point you to forums where whites are calling other whites scammers, saying the info can be found for free, and calling people idiots for buying. Your circle is too small and your frame of reference is limited.

If you equate "getting out as much" to hanging around other forums then yes, I don't get out as much.

My definition of "getting out as much" would consist of OFFLINE interactions with other business minded people.
So, perhaps your circle is too small since you're referencing ONLINE forums v.s. REAL LIFE interactions
:yeshrug:

If you would like to talk about OFFLINE and FACE TO FACE human interactions, then I'm interested.
I bet you would find a lot of value "opening your circle" and interacting with business people offline and perhaps gain insightful new knowledge.
:ehh:

Have you heard of Meetup? Most cities have entrepreneurial groups you can attend for free. Try that out.

It doesn't,
then you have no point. i dont buy jordans, i don't waste money on overpriced sneakers, and i find the entire jordan argument one big strawman. if someone feels 20 dollars is too much to rent a lecture, they feel its too much to rent a lecture.

and while we're on jordans, as overpriced as nonsensical as they are, there is value in them. you can log on to a site like ebay and find nikkas selling their used jordans for hundreds. never the less, still a strawman.

The "absurdity" of the price is relative, some think it's absurd others think it's worth it. What's absurd is comparing Tariq's pricing to a company who's entire business model is renting out video.

So in your opinion. Is the pricing structure fair to the renter?

Define "fair"

My opinion is that the price is the price and you either think it's worth the price or you don't in which case you don't spend your money on it, no harm, no foul.

who are these others? one thing i realized about you dudes is you never put your money where your mouth is. did you rent the lecture? i bet you didn't.

and i also compared his price to comedians that sell their new standup acts for 5 bucks digitally. seems like a fair comparison to me.

that's fine, just dont attack those who don't think its worth it with strawmans about jordans.

cause he's making money off of his people that he claims to care about so much. any person who really wants to better the community would realize that $20 for renting a lecture is overpriced it doesn't matter if or where he's said it before. i don't like people profiting off people who claim to love so much. he's no better than these televangelist who scheme off their church members by having them buy all this overpriced garbage. if that opinion makes me a c00n then so be it

So because Tariq loves black people, he's not supposed to make money off black people? This is the stupidest thing ive ever read :mjlol:
