@RareHunter a riddle that most who read the bible never consider, is the first sentence of Genesis 3.

Remember creation is successive "These are the generations of the heaven and earth"

That statement contains an infinite paradox. How can something be more subtle than anything God has made? If it is dead, it is no longer subtle...if it is alive it must be so small that it is at the limit of conceivability...

Myths and Legends

There is no indication in the Book of Genesis that the serpent was a deity in its own right, although it is one of only two cases of animals that talk in the Pentateuch.

Nachash is also occasionally believed to be another form of Lilith, Adam's original wife, later succubus and Mother of Demons; this only applies to those who believe in that particular telling of the Biblical tale. According to this particular tale, after Lilith returned to the Garden of Eden to find Adam married to Eve, she vowed revenge by tempting Eve into eating the Forbidden Fruit, assuming the form of the Serpent.

Although she appeared as having a snake's tail from the waist down, thus becoming an inspiration to the infamous Lamia.

Lol I’ll have to pray on that. That’s one of the greatest riddles ever. Do you believe this same being is the dragon as well? Also how is eve being taken from Adam’s rib for being alone explained?

i think whats perplexing about the first few pages of genesis are that they reference eachother in weird ways

the classical "dragon" that is referenced by old pagan beliefs comes from Tiamat or Tehom which represents "primordial chaos"

one of the interesting things ive thought about regarding this specifically is that it is an assumption to believe that the primordial waters are actually chaotic. Because if they were, the reality that is built off of it would also be chaotic but our reality is pleasant, cyclical, and adaptable. Meaning if there was a dragon beneath the water it is likely a nice dragon
