Why does liquor brand matter?

During the week I drink cheap vodka straight, Friday through Sunday I drink Dimple Pinch or Hennessy

Whats the best hennessy in ur opinion? Or just cognac in general?

Same with Tequila.

I hate Hennessy but the best for regular use is the white Hennessy for big ballers Hennessy XO. As far as cognac in general, Remy Martin 1738 and Martell are pretty good.

Tequila is tricky because since it's so easy to make there's literally 1000 brands. You have to do research on that.

As a former liquor rep I tell everyone...

Tito's is thee best vodka out. That's not opinion,that's fact. For the quality and price nothing beats it.

Liquor is 90% marketing. Top shelf isn't a quality indicator, it just means that the brand paid for the right to be "top shelf" aka eye level to the customer so they'll be looking straight at your brand.

And when I got my own spot, had to keep some brown for the ladies. No lie I had a Henny bottle in the apartment to stunt and would refill it w/Paul Masson. These hoes couldn’t tell the differencestraight up.

That Crown Vanilla is a delicious.
I was introduced to shytty liquor when I was in college and lived with all women.
They had the fruitiest cheap-flavored vodka and tequila, some of which turns my stomach to this day by smell.
