Why does liquor brand matter?

Be more worried about how many times the alcohol was distilled. Titos vodka is cheap, but better than Goose or Belvedere to me.

Tito's is thee best vodka out. That's not opinion,that's fact. For the quality and price nothing beats it.

Liquor is 90% marketing. Top shelf isn't a quality indicator, it just means that the brand paid for the right to be "top shelf" aka eye level to the customer so they'll be looking straight at your brand.

There was a story from maybe 7 years back of bars getting BUSTED for charging customers high end liquor prices for cheap liquor. Switching labels and all that.

Number of distillation doesn't really matter if its done right, and depending on the liqour type..
At the end of the day its always your personal preference though because its entirely subjective.
