The game/players done changed OP. Opponents partying after games are now the norm.
I dont really have a problem with this at all

As a matter of fact i have more problems with players partying with managements and owners than I do opponents partying with each other after a hard fought game. Remember it's all about the money. When there is a lockout/strike it's usually Media+Fans+ownership VS Players.

I have no problem with players being friends. Don't get me wrong. But at least let the season end man.

These dudes were and still are great friends.

This nikka Lebron was smiling hugging dapping up spurs players left and right after they lost yesterday. I was literally physically disgusted by it:scust:.

Call me a hater. I don't even care. But after you lose a game like that against a tough competitor I'm trying to see some fire. Ole Deandre "let's go to the club after the game" Jordan ass

Personally, i grew up watching when the players "seemed" to hate each other. For me, it made the game better. Obviously social media wasnt around then, but to me the rivalry between squads added another element to the game. Im 32 so i grew up watching those Bulls-Heat-Knicks-Pacers
Sonics-Jazz heated rivalries. Those days are long gon. The players are too buddy buddy for me which has taken away for me. Just a different mindset these days:yeshrug:

Look, we all respect Tim. All time great. But this reads like something a 12 year old girl writes in a diary about a crush. Why is he such a fanboy?

Dare I say it but, would Jordan do this right after a game against a team that might block his path to a trophy?

Let's be clear...

Ready?

In his Hall of Fame Acceptance speech, Jordan called out the coach and the CHILD who took his place on the high school varsity team. After all of these years, he's a man who's still hung up on THAT.

This is respect from one player to the next. This is a business.

I'm older than you and I remember those days too. But again, players can't let the ignorance of fans and the greed of ownership get in the way of their own welfare.

Like I said in lockouts it's usually them against the world.

So yes I love seeing players look out for each other a f not try to injure each other and actually celebrate each others accompliehments. Because owners just want their money and fans only care about TEAM success and their gambling addictions. In the end they are all that they have because the same fans rooting on them be shytting on them when they go broke 10 years down the line.

You're the one thats always posting about fighting white supremacy. I expect you to understand that

but what I find funny about our society is that dudes really look at athletes like they are on some other level.

Just because someone is gifted athletically doesn't mean they cant be corny, or some nerd type.

What I also find funny is that athletes also feel the need to try hard to NOT be corny or NOT be the nerd type which in turn makes is just as bad.

everyone trying to be someone they aren't. you KNOW damn well that dudes like Dwight and Lebron are corny lame ass type personality dudes. But you can clearly see them try so hard to be accepted by their peers. And its so transparent.

Edit: OK it loaded finally it wasn't a video.
I really don't see much wrong with what he wrote. I still stand by what I wrote though

Lebron just playing the game. Everything he does and says is calculated toward building the image and brand. Nothing wrong with that if you understand the bigger picture.

If that's the case then Michael Jordan would be sucking people off in the tunnel. Jordan created the biggest Brand any athlete has ever done in history. And he didn't do it by being the biggest fan boy out there. He created it by doing the killer and aspirational superhero that we all dream of one day becoming.

But maybe you are correct. That's the game today. You got to be friends with everyone. You can't offend anyone. You can't hurt anyone's feelings. Participation trophies for all. Like Jay said I'm just a product of Reaganomics. These kids today don't know what it was like back then. I know, I sound like an old ass.
