As a matter of fact i have more problems with players partying with managements and owners than I do opponents partying with each other after a hard fought game. Remember it's all about the money. When there is a lockout/strike it's usually Media+Fans+ownership VS Players.

Personally, i grew up watching when the players "seemed" to hate each other. For me, it made the game better. Obviously social media wasnt around then, but to me the rivalry between squads added another element to the game. Im 32 so i grew up watching those Bulls-Heat-Knicks-Pacers
Sonics-Jazz heated rivalries. Those days are long gon. The players are too buddy buddy for me which has taken away for me. Just a different mindset these days

If that's the case then Michael Jordan would be sucking people off in the tunnel. Jordan created the biggest Brand any athlete has ever done in history. And he didn't do it by being the biggest fan boy out there. He created it by doing the killer and aspirational superhero that we all dream of one day becoming.

But maybe you are correct. That's the game today. You got to be friends with everyone. You can't offend anyone. You can't hurt anyone's feelings. Participation trophies for all.
