Today, the U.S. Census Bureau released their annual report on income and poverty for 2013. Median household income remained steady from 2012 to 2013, although median household income in 2013 was eight percent lower than in 2007 when adjusted for inflation.

Breaking down household median income by race, Hispanic households were the only group that saw a significant increase at 3.5 percent. Asian Americans continue to lead in household income. African American households earn just 67 percent of the nationwide average.

Do they control the media in this country? Are they the ceos of the corporations in this country? etc...

There is a reason they are called the model minority.

We never identified and separated the cream from the crop. We try to include everyone of us.

We fell for the trick that black is black. When whites made their move, it wasn't "Well we're all white and kin".

We never had our official civil war within our community. Thus we don't know our roles. We have hype men and weed carriers rapping now.

Never had that group of blacks say, "Ok, let's get it. Bust the heads of all the lost blacks and let them ride our coattails."

We have bantu, zulu, nigerian, sudanese, etc., mixtures attempting to pretend like we're all the same.

We ignore that some people aren't good for anything but Frontline fodder. Just the way it is. But nooooo...we can't leave those people behind or see them as collateral damage.

Of course it goes without saying that cacs haven't helped either. They've done their part to keep us wandering around blind. It's not their job too either, it's up to us to fix us.
