Hancock was shytty now?
Focus was enjoyable 7 lbs and Concussion, were obvious Oscar grabs, but still decent movies.
I thought MIB3 was good as well.
I think the worst movie I seen him in was WWW, but I was like 10 when I saw it

I know one thing if Big Willy was white with these same numbers people wouldn't be going at his career the way they do.
Plenty of people flock to plenty of shytty movies. Plenty of people get celebrated for making shytty movies. Regardless of the quality (which is subjective) if his movies were still pulling in big dollars or he was flooding the market (either with movies or just being out there) then the narrative would be different. It's just cool to say he's fallen off and his movies are all wack right now.

You are omitting one important thing he a black, how many do you know that rose to be really huge then fell off due to mistakes or destructive behaviour and actually revived their career. It doesn't happen, not in sports or entertainment didnt happen with myko, hammer, Whit, tiger(if you see him as) and so on and so forth

no, fans of Will Smith know what he is capable of when given good films and good roles. He can truly elevate and carry a movie. I want bad boys, MIB, independence day, enemy of the state will back.

They were going after both because they figured him being crazy would attribute to box office bombs and it did. Look man, bottom line, his flicks have been meh as of late and the box office return hasn't been what they used to be for him, something he himself acknowledged in an interview he did last year when he talked about after earth and juxtaposed it with his dad dying. Especially since when people talk movie stars and success, they're talking about domestic numbers, not international and domestically, Will hasn't been the same dude he used to be. Take After Earth (please, *rimshot) it only made $60 mil US..that's not good man. MIB 3, for a movie that costs at least 220 to make (and the rumors say it costs at least 300) to only make $178 in the US isn't a good look either.
Terminator Genysis was a flop here but cleaned up overseas but when people talk about it, it's still with the stench of it being a flop because we're a very self-focused country breh. And those production budgets you're citing don't include marketing budgets, which is also a factor. So while MIB 3 may have a listed production budget of 220, you can say the actual costs (marketing, distribution) is double that. So the marketing campaign for MIB 3 alone was probably 100 mil so it's at least 320 or maybe a tad more.
What is Will's mistake/destructive behavior? He ain't goin broke anytime soon. No drugs. No child molester allegations (R. Kelly managed to slide step the hell out of that shyt btw). Jada is cool with him fukking other chicks and that's no big deal in Hollywood any way.
That's fine. I just don't think you can conflate your personal views as a fan with the group think that dictates that it is time to shyt on Will. I'm sure you didn't think all of his movies during his hot streak were the greatest thing ever but people sure acted like it because that was the wave at the time.

I want him to do well man. But straight up, suicide squad is the first thing he's done since I am legend that I'm seriously interested in. And that's got nothing to do with him, because I'm sure he killed it in Concussion, but I'm just interested in the movie. Wish he would've done Django but that ship sailed
