For me thats the opposite. The first 75 days i melted and had that muscular look. After my 3 months i couldnt really see much progress until like 8 months in. Hit a plateu or somethingThe hard thing about losing weight is consistency though, cause you usually dont see the progress you want in the first 3 months
I feel like it's the opposite...for me at least. Those first 6-8 weeks are then I usually hit a 2 month plateau and it's like ok, might as well kill myself then like that the weight will drop for another 4 weeks before the next plateau. The hard thing about losing weight is consistency though, cause you usually dont see the progress you want in the first 3 months
Gotta c/s this, I mean being in your 30's in general but especially as a woman, so much of your social life involves food/drinking. Friends wanna grab brunch or drinks or some nikka wants to take you to dinner or out for drinks or your damn team at work wants to do lunch 2-3 times a week...this is a hard part for me, sometimes you gotta basically drop off the grid to stay on track.High key, in the context of the American lifestyle, it's not easy. The biggest hurdles are the fact that most people eat emotionally, and have no idea how to track macros and shyt. From that starting point its a wonder anyone ever loses weight in this country.
Plus people are very proud; it takes humility and honesty to say "man this shyt is not working... I'm fukking up, I need to do something about this". A lot of times people with unhealthy habits will band together to reinforce those habits. I have a group of acquaintances like this, though they recently got on a weight loss kick and actually did pretty well. But they still drink like crazy and do stupid shyt and brag about it.

So damn true! All my friends always wanna drink and/or go out to eat. Then at work its really hard....everyone wanna go out to eat for lunch...they love the Chinese buffets. Then they wanna do a pot luck or bring in doughnuts all the time or Panera bread bagels with cream cheese, some breakfast biscuits, or some type of cake or pastries. It does make it hard to lose weight. Nobody want to actually eat healthy.Gotta c/s this, I mean being in your 30's in general but especially as a woman, so much of your social life involves food/drinking. You put some chips and guac in front or me, it's on sight that can easily hit 400 calories alone. In the grand scheme if your other days are on point, cool, but I'm literally faced with this ~4 days a week. That's a lot of, "no, I'm not going" or "I'll catch you laters"...shyt can put a damper on things.Im very self disciplined when it comes to this. I stop drinking two years ago and being around friends who do drink dont bother me much. As for food, most places have healthy alternatives that i usually take unless i feel like having a cheat meal or two. Some people cant resist though
Oh i know. Working with other nurses i know these problems.
