it was easier than i thought it would be

I lost almost 20 pounds in 2 months by doing intermittent fasting and working out 4 times a week :blessed:

:wow: didn't really change my diet either, I still eat wingstop and checkers
i lost 32 back in 2012,

I use to eat chicken strips Iced tea and biscuits with large gravy every other day from this local spot in memphis called Jack Pirtles damn near every fukkin day when i first started and then i started craving fruit, vegetables and all that out of nowhere. The whole time i never meal prepperd with broccoli and dry ass chicken breast. I had no mental fatigue from overthinking weight loss. I did daily 20-24 hr fast and had a job that kept me super active plus a little gym workout. I havent been that size since but thats due to lingering bad habits and cocky with IF, Im on my way back though

We will get y'all off this term eventually

I've changed my lifestyle on how I eat and how I live. It's been over a year and people will still ask me if still on my "diet" or still trying to lose weight.:snoop:

it's mental battle, the slow losses, the plateaus, the gains...people hit a 1-4 week road bump and assume it's a wrap, you just can't lose weight when in reality it's consistency and a long journey (if you have a lot to lose). some people can't make it past the obstacles so when they see others who are consistently having success, they question "what are these you nikkas have :dwillhuh:"

Cruisin’
Paralysis of analysis.......

What is eating right? What are the best exercises too do? All open ended questions that can leave you down a lot of paths.

Also people losing weight in general isn't an issue, keeping it off is really the bigger issue.
PRETTY MUCH!!

Especially in this YouTube age. Having so much info is a blessing and a curse. It's a blessing because it keeps you more knowledgeable about health, and giving you the "how-to" when it comes to losing weight, more so than any other generation has had. It's a curse, because there's TOO MUCH content, and everyone is trying to sell you a product, and each channel has steps to losing fat, that contradict the info that you received from last channel you visited. It's hard to know which program is right for you, because the results of weightloss don't happen till much down the road, and by then, you've already gone on to the next weightloss channel. Consistency to a program is hard in this day in age in which EVERYONE is telling you that they and they alone have the key to weightloss and fitness. Back in the day you had very few programs, so you were forced to be consistent. You HAD to follow Jenny Craig consistently, because there was no one else to help you out.

Giving up your fav food is the hard part, chocolate chip cookies, chips, burgers, fries:to:

Cutting down on carbs is hard as hell too

I do wanna cut junk food out eventually for my inner health sake even though my blood work came back perfect.

They want it to be easy, just something they have to figure out rather than accomplish...and when they fail while others around them succeed, they want an excuse as to why that is.

People want some quick secret scheme. It's a product of this microwave society we live in. People don't want to hear that they have to be patient and work hard because it's unappealing to them and they don't have the discipline or patience.
Real shyt....we want and expect everything to be easy and a quick fix nowadays. Nobody wanna hear about hard work, setting short term goals to achieve a long term goal, and taking the time to establish progress....we want results within a week if not within a day....which is why u have body shaping wear and tummy tuck compression shirts for women AND men nowadays...we want results now.

Some people do have low metabolism and are genetically predisposed to be larger framed....BUT it still isn't an excuse to exercise 3-5 days a week and eat with proper nutrition. U may cant be skinny but u can be healthier.
