So I had let myself go at one point and got up to 250 pounds.:flabbynsick:

Last year my doctor told me I had high blood pressure so I changed my diet and started working out. Over the course of a year I got down to 185 pounds. Now people that know me and watched it happen keep asking what's my secret or asking if I got some kind of surgery. :gucci:

Why can't some people wrap their heads around eating right and exercise=weight loss. It's a simple equation.:mindblown:

I used to think it was so damn difficult to lose weight. That was just my dumbass always giving up after a couple days since I didn't see results.

Now that i have become more knowledgeable about what to do. It's easy if you're willing to be patient with the results. Unless you do some next military fasting or extreme low-carb, low sugar shyt lol..

Paralysis of analysis.......

What is eating right? What are the best exercises too do? All open ended questions that can leave you down a lot of paths.

Also people losing weight in general isn't an issue, keeping it off is really the bigger issue.

.

This is true, but I think it's all down to the same problem of people wanting to make a temporary change and have that be a permanent solution.

Agreed

There are so many factors that it's never easy.

I get that. I just get frustrated because I get questions from 2 types of people. Those who are in shape or already working on getting in shape asking for legit tips and advice. I don't mind talking to them because I was where they were once and like you say there are a lot of factors someone might need help with. The other type are those with no intention of getting in shape or wanting to work at all looking for an easy answer that doesn't require effort. Those are the ones I'm talking about that waste your time with you giving a detailed account of what you do and they take one thing you said and run with just that like that's the only thing they need.

Giving up your fav food is the hard part, chocolate chip cookies, chips, burgers, fries:to:

Cutting down on carbs is hard as hell too

People don't understand dieting harder than training.

At least it was harder for me. I felt like I was addicted to a lot of bad foods. I had to wane myself off of a lot unhealthy food
