Why do so many of these black athlete podcasts have some rando CAC on them??

Who do you think is booking guests? Managing the topics and discussion for each show? Curating latest news and content for the show? Who do you think is editing the production? Making sure the set and equipment is straight?

My point being, I'm willing to bet they do more than just sit there on screen. There's a lot of stuff that needs to happen behind the scenes to have a focused show that is good. They probably have a production background and do everything else other than talking.

Also... Do you know if they're all random? They might know them from college or from HS. I get the thread, but at the same time it's stupid

there's too many athlete podcasts for me to pay attention so I don't know, but if they're not someone they knew personally coming up or something then they're likely producers/staff of whatever network/company the show is on/owned by.

I wouldn't be surprised if it's the CAC who was the one with the podcast idea, and they used the NBA player to be the face of it and split the profits

I bet its the sneaky cacs who come up with the ideas of making a podcast in the first place, then they go to these black public figures and try to coast off their notoriety. players agrees cause its just talking, cacs do most of the work but make a lot more than they would be on their own. everybody wins.
