Why do so many Black men encourage Black women to be fat under the guise of being "thick"?

IJS, if you're the exception that still tells us "thick" women are only preferred by broke men. Even if you got some money, I'm sure being surrounded by men with their size 4 women, abs poking, with REAL thickness (think 90's era Sir-Mix-Alot Baby Got Back thick, not this grotesque Buffy the Body nonsense we see nowadays with fat women being called "thick" by broke dudes) you'll prolly switch up real quick. You only know what you know. :yeshrug:

There is no pick one, when folks started calling women thick it's exactly how I described it.

Then the brokies co-opted the term to describe their fat ass 5'8 200 lb women they don't have no choice but to accept as a coping mechanism.

90's thick will always be the standard, this new bullshyt is just that.

to add to this...
its not black men as a whole...its black men that grew up poor or lower middle class.
We need to stop equating the habits of people on the lower end of the socioeconomic rung as "black"

the women in these environments are big...
...so you convince yourself this is what you like

you see it on hood youtube channels...
...all the women look like this

its kinda sad

This being big :mjlol:

How are you gonna call the era and the women that created the word the incorrect application of it? That doesn't even make sense. Just admit your preference is fat women. It's not that deep.
Because something being first doesn't make it right/the best. Some things get better over time. Ain't nothing "thick" about a size 4 woman. Just admit your preference is bony women. It's not that deep.
