After that it plummets to abysmal levels

I just really enjoyed seeing him in Action in that Movie.

Ego can be rewritten into a diff character then so can Adam Warlock..he can take the place of the surfer in some movie......but again...aint no substitute for Doom......Well Unless they Make Zemo a Dr Doom level threat

The second or third worst comic movie of all time is an FF movie. (The last one)


The cartoon sucked (it DID).

Why are they trying to make it happen still? Straight up, X-Force, the power pack, thunderbolts, ghost rider, are all more valuable marvel IP at this point...let ALONE the netflix properties...

The FF animated series from 1994 had a rough first season but that second season was flames.

And the FF comic has had some of the best most significant runs of any comic book ever.

Its not the characters fault that people keep doing a shytty job adapting them to the big screen.

Doom is untouchable, to the point he MORE than transcended FF as rivals. He styles on them repeatedly and became GOD recently. Any time reed best doom it's straight writer-stan status.

Iron Man is a guy in a tin suit and money. He doesn't have he mind to compete with doom not the MEANS to do so. He is beneath doom. Only Strange, Reed, panther, and a few mutants should be on his level. And even strange shouldn't since Dr. Doom manipulated his own master to learn the dark arts

The FF comic has struggled to find its place since the '90s. I know Marvel Comics is purposefully burying the property now, but no one has cared about them as a team for decades anyway. The problem is there's only so much you can do with the same four characters being handcuffed together for 50+ years. At the same time, if it's not Johnny, Sue, Ben, and Reed it's NOT the Fantastic Four. I loved the FF as a kid, but since I was a teenager, they've seemed like a time capsule and the epitome of '60s Marvel. They are an uncool and boring throwback.

As a movie franchise, I think its worth is in having the rights to Doom, Galactus, and (to some extent) Silver Surfer. At this point, these rights are only beneficial to Disney. Disney could do so much with Doom and Galactus beyond the FF.
