Not sure what "works closely with Klitschko" means cause iirc the Klits managed and promoted themselves but it seems like that's one of Wilder managers juelzing (why would wilder need 3 managers!?!?)
Wilder's early rep was that he was being carefully managed and maybe even "protected". It makes sense in a way since he started boxing late, but to say he needs baby steps after getting a belt and beating one of the top HW contenders at the time is kind of shameful. His image/rep the last couple years really has flipped to now him being a boogeyman certain ppl are ducking instead of vice versa.
