why do people like san andreas more than vice city?? just asking.

Its kind of sad that's why most people like it. VC is my favorite GTA of all time. SA is the best in terms of gameplay and map though.

For me, nostalgia. It takes me back to a time period of pride, culture growth and awareness, a fun youth. A shame that a lot of negativity overshadowed that though, but man I miss the 90s

Vice City is not only my favorite GTA but also my personal GOAT game but i can see why a lot of people prefer San Andreas. They're 1a, 1b in my book.
SA expanded on every idea implemented in VC and added a ton of new content. Much like VC's world and atmosphere, SA managed to capture and recreate a perfect place and time in 90's LA.
I don't care how much technology advances, they're never gonna restore the feeling of VC and SA

The customization. You could change your clothes, hair, even physique. Cars, gangs. Plus the sheer size of the map. San Andreas is a huge map by today's standards and was made on PS2!

Never got into Vice City. The controls and gameplay always felt stiff.
I remember playing VC and not being able to accelerate or cut corners etc the same way I did in GTA3.

People forget VC came out 2 years before SA. They were slowly building up to the next game
Before VC, which was GTA lll didn't have the option to change clothes PERIOD
GTA lll is the worst of all in the 3D Era.
But then again it was the first 3D GTA... See where im going?
