I ain't have a JW (or mormon) knock on my door in over a decade.

I use to be an unbaptized publisher and have people in my fam that still are JW. It's not a cult but it's def some weirdos in there. They one of the few Christian religions that actually *try* to follow what's in the bible. Half the christians in here probably fornicate and jerk off, imagine a religion where nikkas really adhere to what's in the bible (publicly at least) and you get ostracized if you steer the wrong way. I imagine its like being muslim in one of those sharia law areas , without getting stoned to death. You just get disfellowshipped

Disfellowshipping entails losing your family and friends if they're also baptized JWs. Which is pretty much an emotional stoning. For those born into the religion, thats a traumatizing thing. Keep it reality too cuz, your friends and family if baptized are obligated to cut you off if you openly disagree with the leadership in NY. They have more sympathy towards a pedophile than an apostate. The pedophile at least in their eyes is no different than a fornicator, or adulterer, etc.. The apostate on the other hand.......openly disagreed with God's chosen ones which is tantamount to disagreeing with God. ...several old white dudes and a token Black man.....with 8 million people at their disposal....

I'm not religious or anything, but why do people hate JW's and Mormons Are they like a cult group? Or their doctrine about G-d is B.S.?

Cult : yes
Doctrine : been wrong plenty of times, they built a mansion for bible figures and they said Jesus came back to earth during world War 2 .


They believe they are the chosen people that follow the true religion. Everyone else is worldly people .they seclud themselves, even from close relatives.

My cousins were never allowed to come to my house by themselves, and I grew up with my grandma . Scared that my grandma and I would brush "evil " on them.

Too much to explain. But there is websites exposing them.

Only thing I would say is witnesses know the bible in and out. So they got other church's on hush when it comes to following the bible word for word. If that means anything

I remember the Mormons trying to bring my family some cookies only to get that work from my brother who at the time was 5%er. They walked out and he threw the plate of cookies at them like a Frisbee.

Next time your with a jw ask them you want to hang out with their non jw side of the family.

They gonna scroll through the phone contacts up and down three time talking about "ehhh ..... how bout we cruise and listen to the uncensored logic albulm? " .
