Why do people act like suicide is so bad?

I used to think it's a coward's way out, but it's really a means to an end.

It's no different than taking Tylenol to stop your headache; a means to an end.

It is a brain disease in most cases, unless it's done in protest, like them Monks and dudes in Greece setting themselves on fire in order to protest.

As far as a brain disease, you literally feel as if you're in hell, no one can help you, and the only way to end this suffering is to end it. It gets to a point where belief in a higher power and afterlife becomes a null and you convince yourself that after you kill yourself, lights go out, you get a pleasant 10 to 20 minutes euphoric feeling as your brain shuts down, and just like a computer you're shut down, hard drive crashed.

It has to do with extremely low production of Dopamine, Serotonin, Norepinephrine. Most drugs, whether legal or illegal, act on the dopamine receptor. Ecstasy, as well as, other amphetamine based drugs whether it's Amphetamine, Methamphetamine, Adderall, Ritalin activate Serotonin, Dopamine and Norepinephrine.

My mom had a Co-Worker that she was cool with kill herself when she had a 5yr old daughter, own house, and reliable car.

Stupid white bytch killed herself(Hung Herself) cause it was too stressful deciding which man she wanted to be with.(She was dating 2 different men at the same time)

The little 5yr old daughter had nobody else but her grandmother to take care of her. Dad was a dead beat and nowhere to be found.

it's a weird logic sometimes depending on the problem you're facing. also, sometimes suicide is a shortsighted solution to problems and most suicidal tendencies come from or are a result of high emotional stress situations. and it's best to curb those emotions rather than to give into them. unfortunately, most of that's done with the aid of medication rather than actual psychiatric treatment (and i'm not saying go to the psycho ward or anything) that provokes reasoning instead of a magic fix...

I think suicide is stupid tbh. I mean in some situations I can be like yeah ok I see why. But I think about it like this. If I kill myself, I can't get no more p*ssy or smoke weed again

One of my good freinds committed suicide so i have a soft spot in my heart for this shyt. But honestly i use to think like a lot of you but one day it came to me that its hard for us to understand because likely were not mentally off enough to know the depths of depression these people get to and i'm thankful for that. I couldnt in a million years think of doing something like that but some peoples minds are fukked up.

I'm just happy i came to this conclusion before he did it because some of my friends were a little upset with him and asking why. I understood he was going through something we could never imagine and was ok with the way he went but was still devastated that he went.

IDK, its annoys me when people look down on it.

I mean if you have no job, no friends, no money, no Girl, you're disabled, why would someone want to live?

Like for example I don't blame that kid who lit up VT for killing himself, I wish he didn't shoot up the school but you read the back story on that kid, to be honest, I don't blame him for taking his own life.

I always have sympathy for people who off themselves, I don't think there cowards, it takes a lot of guts to do that.

Those poor souls that jumped off the Golden Gate Bridge are brave as hell, I always be shook whenever I walk across a bridge. It takes a lot to climb over that fence and make that one way trip into the bay.

My ex's mom commited suicide because she got cancer and didnt want to go thru chemo and didnt want anyone to have to take care of her.


She had a 80 percent survival rate of beating the cancer, but she couldnt accept that her life wouldnt be like it was before.


My ex took it real harsh (and is the main reason we didnt work out)


But i dont fault anybody for going if they feel they need to go, ya'll dont owe us nothing man.

Its times like these where im convinced im posting amongst a bunch of psychos, the amount of ppl co-signing suicide in this thread is crazy, meanwhile on the other hand most of these ppl try to act like the hardest out in other threads.

Also why is it that atheists are so disrespectful when comes to someone who does not believe in the same things they do? sounds a bit much like insecurity to me, just because you have lost your faith, dont try to spread your disease amongst others.
