No, I said I didn't respect who he was before he became a Christian.
And by respect, I mean that I did my own thing. I didn't listen to him, I didn't follow him. I didn't allow him to lead me. I didn't trust his judgement.
Since he's become a Christian there's been a huge change in the type of man he is. I'm more inclined to listen to what he says now, since I know it's not just some B.S.
Plus, when we met, neither of us were into God. I became a "real" Christian years later and he didn't. There was this huge disconnect from what I suddenly wanted in a partner and who he was, which caused problems.
And no we're not married.
