Why do Jews Christians and Muslims call on the supreme Egyptian god "Amen" when ending prayers?

:laff:
Stop. Just stop. I've read the Pyramid Texts. They are largely about supernatural spells, and care for the afterlife.
"Racist," doesn't cover my view at all.

OK so if u acknowledge the Pyramid Texts then you know they were found in the Pyramid of King Unas correct??

And what year did King Unas reign?? In the Mid 24th bc Century correct???

Now keep in mind it was King narmer who first united Upper and Lower Egypt.....introducing the red and white crown symbolizing the unification of Upper and Lower Egypt as well as the unifictation of Amen and Ra....so what was revealed in Unas' pyramid had to be based on what went down around 3100 bc-ish correct????

Now when did Abraham come on the scene?? :myman:

2000 bc-ish correct??? :steviej:

. :ohhh: Yoooooooo. I'm just now peeping what u mean by "ankh foolishness". You aren't just being disrespectful u are being racist. I just caught it. U are talking as if my info about Amen came from one of those black books sold in Harlem. But that's where u messed up. My info comes from the same place the white man gets his info about Egypt , "The pyramid text." "The pyramid text" Is where the whiteman goes to for his info about ancient Egypt. And even the white man knows that Amen originates from Ancient Egypt. The saddest part about your racist remarks is the fact that the uninformed actually co signed you. Your whole demeanor towards approaching this convo was sideways from the jump and the fact that Amens origin comes from ancient Egypt and you say otherwise when a simple google search proves this exposes your racist foundation. U can have the last word, I refuse to go back and forth with sideways racism.
I'm not going to jump into this, and I don't have all of the info but I agree with what your saying. There was a time in Egyptian history when the pharaoh switched up his entire religion, I don't know names and dates and such but I think you're on to the right track especially for sparking intellectual conversation instead basing every post on the GOP democrats Isis Paris or Putin.

Good job

The King u are refering to is King Akhenaten (King Tuts dad).....He switched up the tradition established by King Narmer where Amen was the subjective supreme being over the objective lower gods(forces) such as Ausar(aka Osiris) Tehuti(aka Thoth) Heru(aka Horus) Auset(aka Isis) ect....

King Akhanbaten introduced the Atum(The force of the solar disc) as the supreme being....and outlawed the worship of other Gods acknowledging the Atem as the one and only. Some say this was the beginning of monotheism. But Dude was so caught up in his own religion that he slacked in international affairs which would cause problems for Egypt later down the line. After King Akhanatens' death he was labled a heretic and the original spiritual tradition was restored by his son King Tut.

Also let me add that the term "pharoah" is a popular misconception when refering to Egyptian kings....They weren't Pharoahs..they were kings. Pharoah is a Hellenized version of The King and his staff.....Calling an Egyptian king a "Pharaoh" is similiar to calling President Barack Obama "The White House"

Good looking....As a teen I noticed that the Bible name drops Historical figures such as Nebuchadnezzar, King Taharqa of the 25th Dynasty, Cyrus and Ceaser. So that got me interested in World History. Everything i have been speaking on is based on World History.

...To be honest, I think dudes just jumped in the convo to say whatever and weren't even really serious. When you are having a serious grown up conversation u dont use insults. But thats normal on social media...it comes with the territory.

I see, yeah there's definitely a connection. I had a friend in my World History class and he said the only history book he knew was the Bible. It comes with a lot of history but I wouldn't consider it my sole source.

But we learned a lot in that history class, that's why I was able to see you weren't just BS'ing, and people are foolish to think there aren't a connection to things. Especially if the Greeks invaded Egypt and integrated into society (I wonder why that library of Alexandria was burned, gosh what a waste!) and then from there the Romans took it a step further, who were inspired by the Greeks, I see there's always connections and many angles so it's not logical for them to just denounce everything as afrocentric mumbling.

Yeah, you know how most dudes are on here. It's a shame that they preach Higher Learning and Black Excellence, but most are ignorant.

Anyway, Confucius said something along the lines of "I know nothing, because if a man comes here with a swelled head, we can argue all day and I've just wasted my energy". Not exactly those words, but I'll assume you get what I'm getting at.

Real talk the first archaeologists actually tried to use the Bible as the measuring stick of history but as archaeology advanced they noticed The Bible wasn't accurate with their findings and had to seperate there findings from it.

As for the Greeks....What they did is just human behavior..."I conquer you, now I tell a new story with me as the hero. " Thats how it always has been with conquerers and the conquered. But let me also add that The Bible psychologically has people scared to really explore Egypt like that when u really look at it. The Serpent was worn on the crown of Egyptian Kings as a sign of royalty so when the Bible has a Serpent as Satan, psychologically it does something to people(especially Black people). Then you read about the 10 Plagues and the splitting of the Red Sea and it paints a picture in peoples heads. "Egypt = bad, Hebrews = Good"....."Egypt = 10 plagues , Hebrews = Gods chosen",...But it gets even deeper when u add race. We all know(or atleast u should know) that the Ancient Hebrews are not the same as the jews of today so again it affects people psychologically ...."Egypt = Black = plagues =bad........ Hebrews = white people = Gods chosen= good"

The Library Of Alexandria....:whew: No telling what kind of lost history was in that motherfukker.

Yeah, it's difficult because people actually fully believe that the bible is the answer of all answers. I'm not to say it's not, but by burying your face in a book you tend to miss out on the realities of life, and I'm inclusive to that statement.

Do you know why the Egyptians had the serpent on their crowns and why the Bible had the serpent as satan?

I don't know about the ancient Hebrews, what are the difference between them and the jews of today?

No telling :snoop: key word, no telling :snoop: ish depresses me. I can only imagine them uploading the books online and totally flipping our world upside down as we know it.

if African Americans are the bloodline of ancient Egyptians where are the holy Egyptian texts stating we will go into captivity all over the world? Did the Egyptian GODs not earn his people of the upcoming destruction as a nation?

It does not come from "African spiritual science" and this is coming from a person who wants every African philosopher, mathematician, scientist, doctor, and theologian to get their credit when it is due.
This is more ankh foolishness that often gets intermixed with real history.

It's not disputed that Greece and Rome based their spiritual or "religious" traditions on the spiritual traditions of Ancient Egypt. And whatever group of people you are referring to when you say "Hebrews" also have a culture that was directly influenced by Ancient Egypt. If you're studying the Qabalah, if you study the history of the "Hebrews," if you're studying the dynastic and pre-dynastic history of ancient Egypt, then you'll see strong correlations between these cultures and get a much different perspective than you have now.

Because of the West's campaign to alter ancient African history you have to look at this from multiple perspectives, then it's easier to see the emerging patterns and correlations between the Ancient Egyptian culture and the ones that came after.

Just like if you go back further you'll see that Ancient Egypt was based on an even earlier culture out of Ethiopia and the Sudan, which itself was derived from an earlier culture that goes back even further than that.

And I want you to know I understand what you're saying. You're saying just because there was a similar term/sound in Ancient Egypt doesn't definitively prove one came from the other, which makes total sense. Unfortunately you have gone to the other extreme and are in total dismissal of the possibility, which is just as ignorant as total acceptance.

You mean prophecy? You should know better then that homie. If you know history you know that a lot of the info on Ancient Egyptian (or KMT) is lost. The Library Of Alexandria itself is said to have housed a lot of that info. According to what is available KMT(ancient Egypt) did have prophecy about certain things that would happen in KMT(Ancient Egypt ) such as future droughts and the coming of King Ramesses. Me personally, I haven't gone that deep. Maybe the info is out there and you and I haven't found it yet.

Also...... Egypt isn't the only bloodline of African Americans.....African Americans have a bloodline in different parts of Africa.

The answer to everything u asked goes back to how when a conquerer conquers a people they flip the story in their favor. Its called propoganda. The story of Moses turning the staff into a snake is also a propoganda piece due to The Ancient Egyptians value towards the serpent

Off topic , One thing that the jews do that most Christians dont do is acknwoledge that most of the stories of The Torah are really metaphors for the covenant between man and God, which makes way more sense.. But Christians and Catholics take the stories of The Old testament and New testament as being literal and not metaphoric. This creates "Mystified" people and you cant mix Mysticism with reality..If you do u will feel a lot of contradictions in life.

The Jews of today not being associated with the Ancient Hebrews and the Isrealitesis a touchy subject. For that I would suggest Google so u can get a broader perspective.

Keep in mind Ancient Egypt was not conquered by The Greeks alone.....as with Greece and Rome it first took internal problems creating a seperation between united fronts In Ancient Egypt opening the flood gates for enemies to make moves. Lets not just give the Greeks full credit.

I'm going to end this topic by speaking on this meme that was posted. Since no one really gave a thorough breakdown of who Horus is...I will. Keep in mind,This is based soley on things that I have researched.

Keep an open mind when reading this......Look at what I state from the perspective of "theory."

It is said that The holy trinity (The Father , The Son and The Holy Spirit) are derived from The KMT Tree of Life and they have similar stories...But not to many are familiar with The Tree Of Life so i will try to explain its in the simplest way possible.

The Tree Of Life

new-tree-of-life-b--2.png

This is the African Spiritual System that was established by King Narmer in 3100 BC. It is a metaphoric breakdown of man, his relationship with God and the divine faculties that exist within all men.

What we have been led to believe thru miseducation is that these faculties were acknowledged by The Ancient Egyptians as "gods" when in reality they are metaphors for the faculties(Or forces) that exist within all man.

This is where the story of God(Amen), Jesus(Some say Jesus is Ausar...some say Jesus is Heru), Mary(Isis) and Satan(Set) are derived from. With all due respect, If you notice, this version is more realistic and can actually be applied to life in contrast to the "mystified popular version" which has people looking outwards towards God. This version explains that divinity starts from within and then moves outward.

This is the true meaning behind the term: as above so below

The breakdown:

10) - Geb: The physical body.

9) Auset (Who the greeks called Isis): Mans ego

8) Seker - Mans Knowledge that he learns from the outside world -

7) Het- Heru - Mans imagination

6) Heru (or as the greeks call Horus) - Mans will

5 ) HeruKhuti: - The equilibrium between the physical world and the unseen world

4) Maat: Divine law

3) Seker - Divine Power

2) Tehuti (who the greeks called Throth )divine wisdom

1) Ausar (Who the greeks called Osirus):
Mans true self. The universal spirit.

0) - Amen: The unlimited, infinite source of all things

-------------------------------------

10) - Geb: The physical body, The outside world that u can see. Which houses mans emotions and desires(Lust, greed, envy, pride, wrath, sloth, gluttony). According to the tree of life man is supposed to use his will upwards away from the magnetic pull of the physical body and the outside world, towards Ausar, otherwise he will be stuck in the realm of the physical and its influences.

polar opposite:

0) - Amen: The unlimited, infinite source of all things. The creator of all things, unseen to the physical eye.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

9) Auset (Who the greeks called Isis): Mans ego
- This is the "programmed" belief that every man(woman) believes he is. Mans personality. Man is supposed to use his will to rise upwards in the tree of life towards his true self which is Ausar or Christlike or Bhudda or Nirvana.

polar opposite:

1) Ausar (Who the greeks called Osirus):
Mans true self- This is universal spirit that exists in all man and is supposed to be the true manifistation of God as man, who is above feelings and emotions with the power to do anything and knowledge of all things. This state is what is refered to as being Christlike or Bhudda or The state of Nirvana.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

8) Seker - Mans Knowledge that he learns from the outside world - This is the programmed faculty that possesses all the things that man learns from school, society, parents, friends and life experiences. This faculty is limited to knowledge of all things so it is incomplete. Man is supposed to use his will upwards in the tree to align himself with Ausar to acquire divine knowledge and wisdom

polar opposite:

2) Tehuti (who the greeks called Throth ) - Divine inner wisdom that can only be attained by man who has elevated his will to its highest potential. It is said that this is the source of all that is known in all existance and that when man has elevated his will to its highest level he to can attain this knowledge.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

7) Het- Heru - Mans imagination -
The visions in your mind....When you exalt your will upwards in the tree of life, you fill your imagination with righteousness.....But this is the faculty that can also be stimulated negatively by outside influence because it can be attracted to things that appear beautiful or sensual so if you allow yourself to go downward on the tree you will visualize all types of immoral things(fantasys that have no worth.) It is said that Hollywood has mastered this faculty with its false version of what is beauty. The imagination is also where man sets up his future plans which is why the polar opposite is Seker(Divine Power). This would best explain where The Quran says "They plot and plan, and Allah too plans; but the best of planners is Allah."

polar opposite:

3) Seker - Divine Power:
This is the faculty in where God makes all things happen. "Gods will be done." If mans goals are not alligned with Gods will then Man will not get what he wants. This Faculty also involves seasons and appointed time.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

6) Heru (or as the greeks call Horus) - Mans will

Mans will has a duality called Set(This is where the word Satan is derived) Mans will is supposed to go upwards in the tree of life. Set on the other hand wants man to go downward in teh tree fulfilling his sensual desires, cravings, urges and emotions. Set is like that devil conscience on your left shoulder while Heru is like the angel conscience on your right. Heru and Set are constantly at war, in other words, Mans will , will always be at war with his lower self. This is why mans will is supposed to go upwards in the tree of life, forcing all the faculties below it to bow down to divine will. When Heru is in charge the physical body, mans ego, mans knowledge and mans imagination are all in check. This will allow all of the afaculties above Heru to come to the aid of man. If you allow Set to rule he will pull you downwards towards the physical where the divine faculties will leave you alone to the laws of the physical. This is the explaiantion for things such as unwanted pregnancies, emotional mistakes that land man in prison. Bad health choices, ect. Again, what is refered to as "gods" are really faculties within man. The Ancient Egyptains used metaphoric tales to explain these things(much like how the Bible uses metaphoric stories to explain mans covenant with God). One of the stories involves Set destroying Herus eye to where Tehuti had to replace his eye with The All Seeing Eye...

EYE%20HORUS%20OO22.jpg

Some people refer to this eye as "The Third Eye"......It is the eye of divine knowledge. As explained earlier, this is all a metaphor to explain how when man raises his will to the level of "Tehuti" he can attain Divine Knowledge/wisdom. This is where all of that "All Seeing Eye" and "Third Eye" talk comes from.

209.jpg

When you see the All Seeing Eye on the back of the dollar bill....You are bearing witness to how those who actually put that image on the dollar knew the history of man elevating his will towards divine knowledge.

polar opposite:

4) Maat: Divine law :
This is where God creates the laws for physical manifestation. The physical world is below the divine world so teh divine must create laws to keep the phsycial in line. Thetrue concept of love is also said to be in this faculty, where man gives without any desire to recieve in return.

blind_justice-470x260.jpg

It is said that in the afterlife your heart will be weighed against your actions determining how you will continue in the next life. This is where the Statue of Lady Justice is derived from.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

5 ) HeruKhuti: Divine Justice -

There is no polar opposite at this faculty because this is the medium between the physical world and the unseen, metaphysical. Most people associate this faculty with "Karma." Basically if your will strives upwards towards divinity you will attain divine help. But if your will allows teh faculties below it to rule then u will be subjected to the consequences of the Physical realm.

Yin-yang.png

HeruKhuti is the line that seperates the yin from the yang.

Keep in mind, this is my breakdown of the Tree Of Life. Its a lot deeper then what I have explained. I just gave a real simplistic version. Again, I ask anyone who is reading this to keep an open mind and look at all of this as "theoretic."

It is said that in the afterlife your heart will be weighed against your actions determining how you will continue in the next life. This is where the Statue of Lady Justice is derived from.

Ok stop wait no...do not in any way shape or form involve the Yin and Yang in your nonsense.

Yin and Yang have NOTHING to do with good and evil. Period. It is and has always been a concept of positive and negative.

Bad is Bad, Good is Good, neither are concepts that involve yin and yang unless we're talking about something that's TOO yin or TOO Yang or Yang deficient or yin deficient.

This is the 3rd fukking time in the past year someone on this board has tried to combine Daoism and Confucianism into one fukking religion of some sort and now here you are trying to tie it into some Egyptian hotep nonsense.

And stop using the word theoretic or theory to try and solidify your points my man, you're using the laymen interpretation of this and other things in order to sturdy up your points that are based on loosely connecting things together in order to prove some kind of association.

And for the record, I know about this because the grandmaster of my martial arts school is a Daoist priest and along with martial arts we also learn about Chinese Culture and history. In fact, if you take the time to ask anyone with a background in philosophy, or anyone over the age of 60 who is Chinese and does'nt suck off the Communist gov't, they'd be able to explain to you the distinctions between Daoism and Confucianism.

Yin and Yang have ZERO. ZERO to do with good and evil. You are confusing this with Confucianism which is a philosophical/ethical system that has ZERO. ZERO to do with the Yin and Yang.

And don't give me that "That's my interpretation" nonsense either. I can interpret an orange to be an apple but at the end of the day an orange is a fukking orange and an apple is an apple.

I get it man, you want to show that Egypt has had some influence on cultures that it has come into contact with but you're taking it a little overboard now and in essence, doing the same shyt you're accusing other cultures of doing, which is b*stardizing cultures in order to make sense of your own views.
