Xenophobic and racist.
Your anecdotal experience is blinding you to the fact that both can be true, you didn't speak to any of my examples, you rehashed the exact same point because you have no answer.
My current best friend is half Black half Japanese, military brat born in Yokosuka. Met him in college. I occasionally stream with him, so if you follow my streams, you'll hear him.
Back in college, he dated another half Black half Japanese chick. She was born in Okinawa.
Both of them contrasted the type of sentiments they received in Japan and the kind they see here in the United States. My boy didn't stay in Japan as long as she did, being a military brat and all, but he was there long enough to see how they treat Blasians.
He told me he's had nothing but good experiences as a kid in Japan
The chick on the other hand did mention she had to get snuck into her grandparents house when she was young, for fear of them revealing they had a Black granddaughter. This was 35 years ago, and they were the older generation, so you know how that go.
But she's from Okinawa, and they're WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY more laid back about Black people than mainlanders. Okinawa as a whole is incredibly laid back. She told me she ain't ever had a real problem growing up Black in Oki.
Mind you, I asked these questions because I was learning Japanese at the time, and I was curious how I would be perceived there as a Black American.
Your novelty experience in Japan based on your job isn't enough to tip the scale, you're a travel blogger of course you are going to be biased, you'd have to view them favorably to be interested enough in the first place.
I'm not a travel blogger, I've made travel vlogs. There's a difference. My work is literally centered around film. Click the channel.
Like I said, I have had experiences with Japanese students here, and then later in my life, experience with Japanese people IN JAPAN.
I'm curious, though, because you speak as if you know anything about them-- have you been to Japan? Got any proof you've been in the country?
Anybody can handwave personal experiences on the internet, but my word holds much more weight than yours because I've posted multiple pieces of evidence of me actually interacting with Japanese people, in real time, speaking their language in different regions and on multiple occasions.
What you got????
