Dallas, Texas but living in Houston, Texas
I first became aware of wrestling from a uncle of mine that was stationed in Fort Bragg in the 80s. He was able to go to a lot of Mid Atlantic/Jim Crockett Promotions/NWA shows and had a bunch of tapes. I used to watch them but really didn't understand it since I was a child. Discovered the WWF in 1991/1992 and started watching regularly up until 2002/2003 then stopped. Would watch a Raw, Smackdown, and TNA here and there from 2003-2011 but never consistent. Got back into it when I learned about CM Punk's pipebomb.

Main reason I keep up with the WWE is because of you guys in TSC. You guys make watching this crap fun. It's nice to be able to discuss wrestling with black people since most wrestling forums are white dominated. If it wasn't for y'all I would probably not watch the WWE as much. I love y'all. :mjcry:

I don't think I'll ever completely stop watching professional wrestling. It's been a part of my life for almost 30 years. The athleticism from these guys is amazing and even the bad wrestlers earn my respect because they put their bodies on the line to entertain us. Some of the storylines are so funny and sometimes so unbelievably bad that it's good! :russ:

My grand dad was a really big wrestling fan but I distincly remember the night I really became a fan. It was some kind of 1998 WWF New years party on USA network and DX were on there acting like straight FOOLS :russ: that shyt drew me in and I started really watching weekly and was a huge HBK stan. When he went down I stopped watching WWF & started watching wcw a lot more than I did before and was a huge Sting/Nash/Wolfpac mark.

As great as HBK was in ring I didn't really realize how GREAT a wrestling match could be until I started watching AJ styles in 04. The shyt he was doing in his matches every week had me like :mindblown:

My friends loved it, and I was mesmerized by the spectacle of it. I think the first time I watched it was when Steve Austin got sacrificed by the Ministry of Darkness, I thought that was some really cool shyt. Then I saw Mankind fall off the HIAC and I was hooked. It took me a while to get into the wrestling part of it, and even now I enjoy the spectacle and storytelling more than the wrestling

I tune out a lot now though. I'll throw something on if I'm bored but I already have enough disappointments in my life, I don't need more of it by watching 5 hours of WWE TV every week

I've watched wrestling for as long as I could remember.
I remember the wrestlamania where Hulk slammed Andre and recall watching WWF on syndcation on channel 5 on saturday morning.

My parents are from Haiti, my dad barely spoke any english and wrestling was probably the only thing we did together on a regular basis that was fun. I pretty much watched it with him from saturday mornings to monday night raw golden era. Once i got to high school/college/sports/girls and got a life I fell off. I missed the back end of the attitude era, Evolution, later Brock/Eddie/Benoit, the peak years of Batista/Orton/Cena and HHH's oversaturation

Fast forward 10 years my dad passes away and i have my 1st daughter. When she is like 5, we are flipping through channels, stop for 10 minutes on Raw, she sees Cena and she been hooked ever since. I started watching with her because it was something we could do together and things have a come full circle. Was lucky enough to jump on board during the beginning of Yes movement and DB was the wrestler to really draw me. We want to our 1st live show and i bought my first wrestling shirt.

as of late I've become frustrated with the product, watching it is chore, i fast forward to most of it. tired of seeing wrestlers I like pushed to side (Sasha, Dolph, Caesaro, etc), tired of seeing black wrestlers perpetually stuck as mid-cards at best, tired of seeing wrestlers get botched once they get called up/signed and my daughter who is almost 13 is starting to outgrow it.

I've canceled my wwe subscrption and we only watch Raw now. its only a matter of time before i only follow it via messageboards and dirt sheets.

Just being a young dude that likes violent shyt and fukkery:pachaha:. Got into it when I was like 8 (1997). Used to sneak and stay up to watch Raw. 98 was probably when I got hooked. Would watch Nitro and switch over to Raw at 9. I guess I’m a casual as they call it now cause I pop in for the big PPVs and around mania season. I will probably always check for WWE because I grew up on it... it’s just hard to watch it weekly cause the product is mediocre now and frustrating as hell when everybody else but them sees the fixes that they could make

My dad is a huge wrestling fan in denial. He tries to play off like it’s just entertainment but he’s a mark. He calls me every PPV Sunday to make sure I’m watching. It’s fun to watch him get giddy over it.

You basically described my dad. He called me up last week and asked me about Raw25 lol but I remember walking past his room thinking I would hear a regular tv show or game and most of the time it was jim ross lol

I've always had off and on periods with wrestling. My most fondest memory was my Dad switching it to Smackdown while The Rock was doing his iconic pose on the top rope. To this day, it still has me :wow:

Other times would be me watching recorded episodes on my VHS or even catching a live episode with my cousins. I also distantly remember playing this game a lot.

My reasoning mostly stemmed from the intensity. The action, characters, and fukkery had a young breh hooked. That is until my grades weren't looking so hot and my Mom essentially had to

me off from it.

I remember being a Boxing Fan around the early 90s due to Tyson,so when I was doing my lil run of Saturday Morning Cartoons,I run into WWF Superstars and I was:leon::ehh:at the Action in the Ring and by Wrestlemania X I was Hooked. Now Mind you, I knew the Punches were "Fake" but I thought there were things that couldn't be Faked like the Slams and soon the Chair Shots so I wasn't Blind to the Facts even at 11 going on 12...

I was out of it around 97 when Bret went Heel cause I was so used to him being a major Baby Face(he was my Hogan since I wasn't there for Hogans Prime Run)but I was back in Mid 98 after WM14 for Austin's Run then later The Rock in 99 but I was out again around 2000/01 when Trips and The Rock got too Ingrained on TV plus Austin went Heel(See Bret)I didnt get back in till 08-09 when I was getting into the Smackdown Vs Raw Series on PS3 then in 2010 and that was when Bret came back and Peaced up with Shawn then again in 15 when I suscribed to The Network and I didnt go Full Time following it(RAW,SD,PPV)till mid 16....

If anything I thank The Network,#TSC and the various Wrestling Podcasts for keeping my Intrests in the Fine Sport of Wrassling that Ive enjoyed since I was 11 even if it isnt "as good as it was back then"

Been watching so long it's just part of me now. But it's the last/only thing I can remember doing with my father before he -- for all intents and purposes -- ghosted from my life when I was six or seven. Only positive memory I have of him, keeping it 100.

I had the old demo disk for the ps1 that had a wrestling game on it. Only available guys where the rock, stone cold, hhh and someone else. I played the shyt out it before I'd even seen wrestling on telly.

First thing I remember seeing was in a hotel room at my aunts wedding and saw this.

Was like 7 years old and when he said " are you the next big thing, or the next big bytch" me and my brother where
