Getting super fresh ain’t really in southern culture imo. Some outfits I’ve seen get compliments in Texas, Florida, Carolinas, and Georgia would get shytted on in New York, especially in Harlem and The Bronx.

Imagine southern rappers just started getting fresh and they can’t contain themselves now lol. They go overboard and extra cuz it’s not really ingrained in them

Every region has bama nikkas. NYC included. You got hella NY nikkas literally still dressing like its 2001 with Yankee fitteds six sizes too big hanging an inch over their ears with a baggy ass leather Pelle Pelle with rinestones all over it looking like they bout to start Harlem shaking any second. Hella DMV nikkas looking smoked out on dippers looking stuck in 1998 foamposites/flighposites and all wearing some ugly ass dead local clothing brand they don't make no more (i.e. We R One, Shooters, All Daz). L.A. nikkas looking hipster'd out like they live in some white ass suburb with man buns and Zumiez looking gear talmbout they from Compton and had to put in work.

It's crazy how Bay nikkas and Down South nikkas have similarities. Frisco nikkas always rocked shags too. The Bay was one of the longest holdouts for Girbaud shuttle jeans too. And hella Bay nikkas ain't realize how country they look rocking USPA instead of real Polo and wack ass basic cheap shyt like a GAP hoodie. And the crazy old school car culture too. If your car game weak in the Bay or Down South, you a clown. But if your gear game is wack in the East Coast, you a bama.

When I lived down in Memphis they knew I wasn’t from there IMMEDIATELY. From the way I talked, my haircut and how I dressed. Stuck out like a sore thumb in the land of gold fronts and Lil Bootsie fades. They were still wearing Girbaud jeans down there What I’ll give them credit on is a few of them correctly guessed I was from Philly instead of just saying New York.
