I lived in Houston for a little over a yr, and the young nikkas aren't dressing like that. The oldheads otoh, are a different story, and they think they are the flyest nikkas on Earth.
You already know, I met a dude from Baltimore. He was cool but sounded exactly like Jay Z till he said do or to.

Getting super fresh ain’t really in southern culture imo. Some outfits I’ve seen get compliments in Texas, Florida, Carolinas, and Georgia would get shytted on in New York, especially in Harlem and The Bronx.

Imagine southern rappers just started getting fresh and they can’t contain themselves now lol. They go overboard and extra cuz it’s not really ingrained in them
it's different from uptop

if you in the hood up here you still gonna have easy access to all the pieces

down south you can be in the hood & have no access unless you make that effort

plus the way things ar set up brands don't keep priority accounts certain locations it's geography & economics involved in who's most flee as well ha

Naw man. They was not bums, they were getting money.
nikka's posted up in front of Popeye's not getting money. That's poor hustling, I suggest you come to Spivey's on blodget and Ennis and see dudes and females who're really getting money.

This is true. I’ve seen it first hand. Also one of my homeboys went into the military back in like 2002 and he said at basic training nikkas from down south we’re bragging about rocking Hilfiger and Nautica
:mjlol:
Y'all lump the whole south together, be specific. Houston been on fukk Hilfiger in the music for 30 years. We begin rapping about Versace dinner the early 90's is documented. nikka wore Donna Karen and all those brands in the early 90's. Tela even said Houston or Memphis on fashion back in the gap. Interview on YouTube with b high from Atlanta radio.

I know y'all Dallas nikka's jealous of us. It hurt that we're superior to y'all. Look how we stay on y'all minds. Houston never go out our way to clown y'all. That's why y'all get beat up at Texas Southern. We don't even think about y'all. I just wonder where the salt from y'all come from?

:sas2::mjgrin:

I've come to the realization over the years that wife beaters are a life support system for hood nikkas :jbhmm:. Any additional wear and tear on the fabric increases efficiency by 10%. A potentially deadly outcome cuz they can be worn under a 20 year old fubu or Karl Kani x2 extra large faded polo :damn:

A durag and a half smoked black in the ear is an extra life energy pool :why:.

Hood adjacent nikkas, such as myself don't get this extra resource :beli:

Crew neck is not a marketing term or some new hipster shyt

:snoop:
Different Types Of T Shirts - How To Wear Them | Bewakoof Blog

I just googled t-shirt collars and they describe the crew as the basic/timeless regular collar. AKA the same shyt they was wearing since t-shirts were invented in like 1932 or some shyt.

Crew Neck literally is a NEW marketing term.:mindblown: You are not wearing some new shyt breh. This guy below is wearing a crew neck collar.

It even says on wikipedia that crews necks were invented in 1932

Brehs really acting like it just became a thing 6 years ago.
