helps to keep the grill clean
only black people do this?
Some charcoal grills can rust easily, so I see the need for the foil to not have a rusty-dog. With some newer and more efficient grills, Im sure it may not be necessary though. More of a preference thing, but having it does assist with the clean-up, poke some holes through the foil though.
ugksam said:no he is being logical and pointing out the fact that there is no real reason to use a charcoal grill as a heating source to cook your food on aluminum foil, why not just use a pan on the stove top or cook it in the oven? it would be cheaper and way less work.
whoa calm down no need to get your ego all involved here. save your delusional justifications and excuses for someone else.
20 minutes to clean the grill?
These are the reasons why. Plus yes you do still get the grilled taste. If you poke holes in the foil, all u do is save on clean up time and cut down on eventual rust. They even sell those sheets specifically for grilling and that's what I buy.
A good piece of meat is juicy on the inside. No homo.
He's actually being elitist, but that's to be expected from some of these posts. I cook my food on foil because I prefer the taste. I use the grill because I can't cook as many things simultaneously in the oven and it's WAY less work to clean a grill. All you have to do is scrub it and spray it with a hose. The cost is negligible.
Im getting so much better at BBQ'n
Once I master seafood on the grill its over brehs
I had a friend who used to hit me with the it keeps the grill cleaner bullshyt. He was black. I would never use foil. If that's the case I'll just use my cast iron grill pan. If you're worried about getting your grill dirty what the fukk you buy one for. That's what happens. For rust just get some fat or oil and rub the grill and problem solved. I clean my grill with onion lemon and beef fat.
