Why do black people put aluminum foil on their BBQ grill?

The juices don't run out as long as you get a good sear on the outside surface of the meat. A good piece of grilled meat is crispy with a little char on the outside and juicy on the inside. No homo.

Some of us don't like burned/crispy/charred hotdogs/hamburgers/steak/etc.

Some charcoal grills can rust easily, so I see the need for the foil to not have a rusty-dog. With some newer and more efficient grills, Im sure it may not be necessary though. More of a preference thing, but having it does assist with the clean-up, poke some holes through the foil though.

Those grill brushes are cool, but you can get the same effect using half of an onion. Then I either rub the grate with oil or spray Pam on it.

Grilled meat has better flavor and is more tender if allowed to cook in its own juices. Without foil, the juices fall through to the coals.​

no he is being logical and pointing out the fact that there is no real reason to use a charcoal grill as a heating source to cook your food on aluminum foil, why not just use a pan on the stove top or cook it in the oven? it would be cheaper and way less work.
