Why do black people put aluminum foil on their BBQ grill?

I just asked a friend, and they said:

So you don't have to clean the grill all the way, I guess.

Keeps it cleaner.

Could be right, could be wrong....sounds about right, though.

Cleaner? I think its worst. Making hamburgers on foil is :scusthov:

I spray the whole grill and coals with lighter fluid to burn off all the grit and shyt from the last bbq and scrape all the stuff off while the grill is hot :manny:

I never bbq wth foil on the grill. Its pointless. Only time I even used foil is sometimes when I grill salmon. I'll wrap salmon steaks in foil. But never burgers, ribs or steaks.

Grilled meat has better flavor and is more tender if allowed to cook in its own juices. Without foil, the juices fall through to the coals.​

The juices don't run out as long as you get a good sear on the outside surface of the meat. A good piece of grilled meat is crispy with a little char on the outside and juicy on the inside. No homo.

Those grill brushes are cool, but you can get the same effect using half of an onion. Then I either rub the grate with oil or spray Pam on it.
