I'm from southeast Alabama, and I have never noticed or seen this. Kats from Bama tend to act similarly to Georgia dudes, but with less drip.

Lot of people form Bama relocated to in la too. My Grandma is from AL , my next door neighbor was from mobile and my sisters people now I think about it .
