they were so underrated:wow:

Tash was one of my favorite west coast MCs, his delivery and flow was crazy

this was so true...you could be a really dope MC in the 90s and still not be in top 20-30

plus they never really made commercial music that would appeal to the masses

I think a great example of this would be what happened with Black Eye Peas before they found Fergie

Without that cross over they "fade into bolivian"

Lol

Coast to Coast is my fav album by them

Great group that deserved way more recognition and success than they ended up getting which was a shame.

i always liked that Tha Liks album even tho it was such a blatant commercial attempt...they seemed to just make the wrong decisions...could be the labels fault i dont know...even Tash's Rap Life should have been bigger but they went with the wrong songs and didnt promote shyt enough.

Tash a real good friend of mines.. He told me Loud fukked alot of shyt up going forward in the early 2000s. Then the name change played a role and they fell out with Xzibit whom basically abandoned them when he blew. They got it sorted out tho
Loud was RCA then got swallowed up by Columbia around the time X.O. Experience got released.

That album (XO Experience) got push, had joints with Neptunes and relatively large accompanying music videos.

The album got re pushed about 2 years later, almost a re release in a way.

It just didn't take off.

They had their shine, people loved them.

All their albums were great, Tash solo too.
