Their best album is Coast II Coast for me. But very underrated would be The XO Experience.

They're respected as MCs, had an incredible run, cool with everyone...I don't think they were ever gonna blow without a huge established name behind them.

They would've ate well if they debuted in the late 80's or mid 2000's imo

Weird range I know but they had all the tools to be a very successful commercial group and keep it hiphop

Tash a real good friend of mines.. He told me Loud fukked alot of shyt up going forward in the early 2000s. Then the name change played a role and they fell out with Xzibit whom basically abandoned them when he blew. They got it sorted out tho

I remember this. X did those fellas dirty once he linked up with Dre/Aftermath.

He could have easily got them plugged in like Em did D12.. Especially since the Liks looked out for him when he started

they were so underrated:wow:

Tash was one of my favorite west coast MCs, his delivery and flow was crazy

Very competitive time when they came out

They didn't have enough hits to compete..

They dropped in the back pack era but the game changed after Flavor in ya Ear..

Anyone who couldn't keep up with Bad Boy & Death Row/After Math were lunch

this was so true...you could be a really dope MC in the 90s and still not be in top 20-30

plus they never really made commercial music that would appeal to the masses

i wsa watching the Steve Rifkin interview recently... i can see how around the first sale / merger it looks like everybody on the label suffered. i think the name change was a corporate decision
the name change was to get them into walmart and target.. same thing happened to ghost... he dropped the killah and he also used GFK ...
