Early 2000's (or maybe late 90s not sure). "Know the Ledge"was what attracted me to it. Bringing a Christian voice to a board that was openly hostile to Jesus (i.e. Goatpocher was no joke). The atheist/skeptics here now are light compared to those days. Also my man eternal was on there as well. We still cool to this day.

Heard about this from being on the IC. There was a lil fued. I checked this site out but wasn't interested shyt looked goofy at the time. The IC died and I converted over eventually.

Nah not necessarily frat. I was still kind of early to the message board scene at the time and I think I stumbled upon niketalk from some 360waves.com forum or some shyt I used to frequent when I was on my wave game. Some old head shyt lol. I guess I liked the community over there which eventually led me to the coli.

The Hypebeast forum got real racist around the Zimmerman case and I was looking for a new forum.

Grew up in a shytty ass small farming town in California and needed black people to talk to especially about the things I like.

I browsed a few different hip hop forums when I first got a computer with internet access

Sohh was just on another level from the others and here I am 20 years later

I was on the internet heavy at a young age and gravitated to a lot of different hip hop forums and sites. Been at this 25 years now. Forums were always about discovery of music for me. Even though I was active on other forums I actually didn’t ever really post on SOHH. Don’t even remember what my username was. Was always just a lurker there hence the name now. When the migration happened, I signed up for the Coli but didn’t post or post often here for mad years as well.

Lurked sohh 2001/2002 because I was in high school and did not have whatever email account was needed, when I became adult I did not really care about it. Came because of most likely searching something about rap.

When the site opened for registration signed up immediately.
