Why did you join SOHH/The Coli?

I joined sohh the year it got hacked. I joined specifically to troll and be weird if we are being honest.

I was like 16, pretending to be 25 and married. Giving nikkas relationship and job advice. And dudes was listening to me which was the crazy part. Had MFs PM’ing me talking about

“hey man me and my fiance gonna combine bank accounts, what do you think about that?”

And my dumb ass replying with shyt like “yeah be careful with that, I had to run it by my accountant before I made a decision like that.”

Meanwhile I’m a damn child…

2004 on SOHH; i think i joined for hip hop discussions and just to get perspectives from black folk across the country. stayed because it was a place where i could talk movies, science, history or video games with mostly black people. also the subcultural mix was more normal than other black spaces which would either be dominated by "NewBlacks" or ratchets.

moved to the coli because it is the spiritual successor.
