Kids don't need to use their imagination anymore.
When I was a kid, dinosaurs certainly captivated my imagination. I had some of those Dinowarriors toys. I even had a few Dinosaur Plastic Models that I put together as youth. As a testament to their importance to me as a young boy, the dinosaurs occupied space right next to my PlaMo Gundams and F-15e Stirke eagle, which I treasured. It was prized real estate in my mind for sure. IN my young possession, lay nearly every Dinosaur book that one could buy at places like MacFrugals or other second-hand clearance stores. Books that, of which, laid next to my bed and showed significant signs of daily use.
These days, kids have Videogames and videogame lore to occupy their minds. If I had such Massive and involving games like Skyrim, Fallout 3, WOW, COD4 or Mass effect, to occupy my free-time, I doubt I would have been so involved in PlaMos, Comic books, Dinosaurs or anything else as a kid. Videogames are simply the least costly, and less time consuming way to fulfill a boyhood longing to imagine and fantasize.
and tell me that i could only take out 3 books on the same subject at a time 
...i loved and still love Dinosaurs. i can't wait until we clone one of those fukkers.
