Don't understand how someone can say Reloaded "sucked". Matrix is classic, Reloaded is dope and the Animatrix was sick as hell.

I actually thought Reloaded was the best one. It's probably because I saw it in a true IMAX theater. I don't know. I never really cared about the series to go back to rewatch any of the movies. :manny:

I haven't watched reloaded in years but I watch the matrix from time to time, it's one of the best sci-fi movies ever made. and I can't believe their new cloud atlas flick didn't get better reviews. shyt was fukking :mindblown:

The Matrix Trilogy was a very complex series which is why there's been so many books written on it and what the symbolism is of the whole thing. This guy broke down the whole trilogy pretty well. It's long but he gets some great points in on each film:

Everywhere
All the movies are good with each one having iconic actions scenes.

1. Bullet Time Scene
2. Highway Chase Scene
3. Neo vs. Smiths

Nothing really has come close in the genre since, bar a few here or there. It's influence is almost unmatched in action. Plus it made bank while being rated R.

But I guess you people who disagree probably love more Avatar, Transformers and Fast and Furious movies :childplease:

They should've stopped at part one. 2 and 3 were just about hawking that

online game. Like for instance.....remember at tha beginning of part 2 when

Jada Pinkett and her team are meeting up wit Fishburne's team about tha

robots drilling into Zion. Remember how tha scene felt like you were walking

into tha middle of something? That's because you had 2 get online first to

see how this scene made sense. Ion wanna do all that. I just wanna watch

tha movie, lol!

Revolutions was just a bunch of poo.

The Homeless Bum Train conductor....tha little arab girl......Smith coming into

the real world....the Architect saying a bunch of nonsense..........Neo having

powers in the real world. The Machines and Humans agreeing to a "truce".

they never planned a second or third matrix, they had no choice after the success after the first movie

thats why it was all fuked up after the first one

The second and third sucked because they took everything that made the first one (understated cool factor, smart scifi, mystery) and thru it in the trash for a generic scifi fight movie. Outside of the architect and the huge agent fight, the rest of that shyt sucked.

The Zion rave party??? :scusthov:

The early 2000's were a weird time...virtually everything that was popular and beloved from that time is terrible upon revisiting. The Matrix is no different, aged horribly and just seems corny and underwhelming. Even the incredible cgi is kind of shytty now.

Also lol at dudes still trying to cosign that bytch and her allegations w no proof.

Looking back on those times, yes the matrix made money and so it shows it was popular. However, the second and third films just weren't good. Yes there where some great scenes, but overall the films were poor.

People hype that neo vs the smiths seen but that was seriously some of the most :flabbynsick: cgi I had ever seen. It was like they said "fukk it, throw in the path of neo, neo model".

And don't get me started on that rave scene. I remember being hyped up at 13. My elder cousin was staying with us and put me on the first matrix. We snuck into see Reloaded and then the orgy/rave scene...:wtf: Suddenly I just felt real uncomfortable like the whole thing had been shattered for me.

Can someone explain why neo had powers in the real world in revolution? Controlling the seintenal and being blind but being able to see. Did this just mean "the real world" was just another layer of the matrix and they weren't actually free?
