I actually liked the dialogue with Col. Sanders.

But I can understand why many people didn't and this scene definitely turned people off. Taken by itself it's not bad at all, but they tried to shoehorn so much extra shyt about ghosts and vampires and viruses and this that and the other that by the time you see the Architect you're like fukk THIS

To this day I've never seen the third movie. I just know when they came out very few people said a bad word about the sequels. I guess you gotta wait until it's safe....

Matrix Reloaded Theory One

I don't vouch for it; but, I read it and it's not convoluted like other fan sites.

Machines guided all the Ones (Neo is #6 ) to reset the Matrix. Gave 'em a choice of; destroying Zion, savin' their love (and killing off humanity) or destroying Zion and pickin' 20 something to refill it.

Zion was created to house those who inevitably would reject the Matrix and after it over fills, they reset it.

Neo choose to save Trinity.

I remember reading a "Fan site" on the last movie and the point was; the machines created a virus (I forgot for what) and it got outta control and they offered to end the Matrix for those who wanted to leave if Neo kills Mr. Smith (the virus)

They showed it in the animatrix from the encyclopedia POV. They spoke about it in the form of passed down stories in The Matrix

Parts 2 & 3 were god awful. The wonderful story that they set up in the original went to complete shyt. I couldn't understand that huge gap in terms of quality from the first Matrix to the sequels. I guess that's why that Sophia Steward story continues to have legs

Im not the biggest fan, of the series, but; the robots rebeled against the humans, humans got in a war and blocked out the sun, the robots needed energy, enslaved the humans and used the Matrix to placate them while creating energy from them

The first 3D bits of the Animatrix were worthy enough for something else. I was all hooked then it just stopped.
