we arent in the grand scheme of overall tech
communication has exponentially improved
computers which have only been commercially available for the last 40 or so years have exponentially improved
but most factory processes and the science behind them have long been in rotation for years.
which is my point that overall tech isnt growing exponentially
as i said before, you miss the big picture and want to assume these "new" processes influence the world as much as things as simple as hunting and gathering. you discount something just because its simple, but fail to see my point. The impact isnt there. The so called "advances" are in niche places and you want to paint a picture that its the same for everything, which just isnt true. As an engineering major i study these things. I would be the first to defend it, but you are wrong
