like he's not allowed to make songs where he's not ultra serious. He likes to have fun,party,fukk bytches,get wasted,and rap over hot beats too.
And the thing about this particular song is its still lyrical. People say this song dont fit in but that third verse is his explanation about the albums name and how they tried to shut him up. All his so called commercialized songs have lyrical elements in them.
As far as the production for hero and make the world go round, he's showing the doubters and the haters he can spit ovet hot beats,plus it gives his catalog sound variety. It also helps draw in the casual consumer who may not be aware of who NaS is and might want to give him a try.
In short, don't question the fukking goat
