on a dude made a thread about how he was at the gas station, and thought he was about to be food...but it turned out this new gnahs single was on his radio, and cats were trying to hear it.

they did front on polow cause he was making garageband beats, and getting crazy money for them..so nas did lose.

Always skipped it for some reason. Didn't hate it, but never really stuck for me. Nas' music usually always appreciates imo so I'll have to revisit that one.

Musically it doesn't fit well with a bouncy pop beat and lipgloss pop hook.

It was like Nas recorded his verses acapella and Kerry Hilson/Pollow did the song somewhere else. Then some engineer just mixed it together in 5 minutes.

Not very well executed but if you're easily impressed of a song based on just lyrics, it's a dope ass song. Just like certain cats are just impressed by hooks, multis or others just beats. Even the cac's noticed it, the grammys nominated a single without radio play or a video N.i.g.g.e.r. the slave and the master instead.
