Leo and Raph didn't want to use them, but Master Splinter FORCED them to carry them murda blades
It was supposed to be a Kids movie, but Splinter had no problems gaining Juice in them NY streets by tossing Shredder off a project roof like Q did to 2pac

he had the nunchucks at first then they changed his weapon to a hook and rope in the 87 cartoon.

come on breh. samurai would test their swords on 'peasants' and shyt

different times breh, Martial Arts hasn't been used like that in hundreds of years outside of warzones and shyt. since the gun was invented & brought into Asia, Samurai and the like aren't around.
