Why Did 70's Music Age So Much Better Than 80's Music?

60's & 70's music aged like a fine wine....why did 80's music sound so scust in comparison?

Alot of 80's music sounds too manufactured and soulless. That's when the transition to a more electronic sound started. 80s music fell off across all genres. There was some classics produced during that time but music took a huge nosedive from the 70s.

80s to me seemed like a pre 2010 era of music ..

But hair big clothes doin it big with trying new sounds . .

70s had structure and culture that was heart warming ..

80s was on some yachty shyt compared to 70s lol

Even tho EW&F and Parliament were 70s .. they didn't sound as crazy as they looked..

80s music was stale af production wise. 70s shyts all over it in that regard. I think the 90s was better than the 80s as well. Its no coincidence that the 90s was full of 70s nostalgia

You ain't listening to the right 80's music. I love the funk and soul of the 70's but OVERALL... I would take 80's music over the 60's and the 70's music. 80's music has more variety of Funk, Soul, Pop, Rock and Rap.

Ever since the 80's ended... music groups and producers have been trying to recapture that 80's sound... even still today(2017).

Let's just say that If I was on a road trip and had to listen to nothing but music from the 60's, 70's or 80's... for 10 hours straight.... the 80's would easily win.
