Speaking of Destiny's Child, and their artistry.. in the light of their reunion...

I think DC4 was better than DC3 musically, and LeToya/LaTavia's contributions to the group are underrated. I also am in the minority of thinking that their debut album is superior to The Writings on The Wall, even though both are two of the best albums in their discography. I sometimes wonder how their music would've faired if they would've stuck together. :mjcry::mjcry:

She should be crushing the destiny's child shyt, we are still waiting for her to do this then we can have these crazy conversations.

Her image is carrying her not the music. I mean the jackson 5 shyt was nice but mike's solo shyt was very good too.

Beyonce has gotten better artistically from the beginning of her solo career until now. Firing her father as manager was the best thing to happen to her imo. I think Lemonade and BEYONCÉ are some of the best pop albums released this decade.

NOPE i disagree. she was better when her dad was there. All people talk about is her looks and image not the music.

Brandy is iconic but...nah.

Now replace Brandy with Aaliyah, and you on. But they know better in this thread to argue against that. :sas2:
Well musically I will take Brandy over Aaliyah tbh. Sadly, she probably wouldn't have gotten as much respect as she does now, if she didn't die.

No.

First of all, MJ is one of a kind. He defines pop, like say....Arnold defines bodybuilding or Bruce Lee defines martial arts. Hundreds of artists have followed his footsteps. He has universal appeal amongst both sexes and all races, worldwide. His songs are timeless, had meaning and everyone could relate.

Beyonce on the other hand, is the biggest doing it right now but she wouldnt be as big as she is if not for social media first of all. Secondly she hasnt raised the bar at all, what has she brought to the table that no one else has? What blueprint has she laid out? Wheres the innovation? Her fans, females and homosexuals. Her songs? Mostly mindless, vapid bird anthems and few will stand the test of time. Horrible comparison.

I have listened to her shyt, she even started going overboard with the profanity and all that other unnecessary bullshyt, she is weak musically.
So because an artist use profanity, which artist's do all the time, it makes their music weak? (and you just used profanity too so I'm wondering if it makes your argument weak?).

Oh ok. We'll I'll let y'all have it now.
