You say Bamas a "national brand" of course but when they sucked in the late 90's to mid 2000's do u think recruits gave gave shyt or evne knew about Bamas past?

They turned it around strictly becasue Saban came in not becasue of the brand that most high level recruits probably werent even aware of at the time

A lot of major contributors to Saban's first ring at Bama was due in large to recruits from the earlier regime who were stud players...

Bama really never took a major dip in recruiting between Bear Bryant and Saban
