Why cant black american actors do accents?

Because English(american) is the preferred language.

Black or white actors dont do many roles where a foreign accent is needed.

People from the UK and Austrailia, etc they have to learn our different accents b/c this is where big movies are made. The same way foreign singer learnt o sing with American accents and we dont learn theirs

What is the point of listing race in this?

The number of non American actors in general regardless of race who do accents will always be higher than the amount of americans who do accents because the film industry in the US market is so huge, it doesn't require a lot of actors to perform accents in order to appease the audience... In other words, more foreign actors come to the US to play roles than the other way around.

Also, I could,see the flaws in idris's American accent easily... Actually, most UK actors have flaws in their American Accents. You can even spot flaws in Christian bale, and you can tell when he is straining to use a US accent.
