Newsweek is a conservative outlet now ever since it was bought by that Chinese dude who started his own fringe Christianity cult called The Community.
And this woman's opinion isn't based on anything factual. She's just a Republican commentator (who works for The Federalist) trying to create a narrative to drive a wedge between the Dem Party and Asian voters because Asian voters swung so hard for Biden in 2020.
Also this survey from 2020 showed that 70% of Asians were pro-affirmative action.

FYI, Newsweek in that past few years got bought out and became a right wing website. Asians aren't really leaving the party in any significant degree, Majority are still democrats.
