FYI, Newsweek in that past few years got bought out and became a right wing website. Asians aren't really leaving the party in any significant degree, Majority are still democrats. So butthurt that someone posted something that didn't kiss Democrat ass you misunderstood the point of my post!!

Look at the stuff I highlighted. Why do you think I did that? Do you think I agree with her assessment of CRT and that policies used to correct the inequities caused racism should be ended?

My point was these other "People of Color" are looking out for theirs. They are not here to form some POC coalition against white supremacy. She is basically saying "I don't give a damn about the racist history of this country. Not my problem, not my people's problem." She was playing up the "Model Minority trope" and saying the Dems focus too much on race, while Asian folks work hard and go to school so they don't need policies to address systematic racism.

Here's another example of a "Model Minority" weaponizing themselves against ADOS.

You just have to realize that other races don't want to team up with you to 'overcome the white man'. Asians, Latinos, and even Africans, don't have the same relationship with whites that ADOS have. they look at whites as potential benefactors and allies as long as it aligns with their interests. Asians are interested in looking out for THEIR OWN interests and not the interests of some imaginary POC that will team up to 'overtake the white man'. If they feel like the Republicans are giving them the best offer, they are going to go that way. I have a feeling many Indians vote Democrats because Democrats are likely to increase the H1B1s, thus helping their countrymen and women out, but take that away and you get a completely different story.

Quit projecting your behavior on others. The only person eager to ally with whites to hurt other minorities is TLRepublicans posting right wing "blexit" opinion column articles. They don't feel they're getting a better offer from Republicans. Even the article acknowledges that.
