I stopped thinking about marriage back in 2009 after cohabiting for 1 full year. At 29, I'm of the opinion that we can just be long term partners...if the man wants to marry me, I'll make it clear that it's unnecessary unless he desires a child (and I love him enough to give him one, after I've decided he's father/husband material, of course). I'd still keep my house and rent it out!

The only way I could live with a guy is if I were legally obligated to do it. Relationships seem like a waste if marriage isn't the end game. Crazy but that's how I feel.

That's not crazy, that's smart! Do what's best for you and always strive for personal happiness!

Haven't found the one yet.
I'm glad I haven't been married though.
Seems most people get married in their mid-to-late 20s and I've changed a lot since then. So whomever I would have married then...I probably would have divorced by now. For the simple fact that I wasn't really mature and my perspective on things was a lot different.

Because life partnership >>>>>>> marriage

All of the positive commitment and companionship attributes, not so much of the negative legal ramifications. :blessed:

I've grown fond of being by myself and truth be told most women will give me all the basic benefits of marriage.

I'm also undecided if I want kids or not.
